Our story
Working in and around the transport industry, we kept running into the same problem: the software managing millions of pounds of operator payments and franchise contracts was outdated, fragile, and painful to use. The people relying on it deserved better.
So we built better. The Operator Payment Calculator and Contract Management System are our first two products — purpose-built to replace legacy tooling with something fast, reliable, and maintainable.
We don't plan to stop at transport. CisiumIQ is a software company first. We'll keep finding the gaps where good tooling is missing, and fill them.

A complete rebuild of the payments calculation platform for complex operator charging. It ingests operational data, applies standard charges up to an agreed allowance, applies additional charges when usage exceeds that allowance, generates auditable payment summaries, and ensures each operator can securely view only their own results - all through a clean API and web interface.
One place for every contract.
Manage operator contracts from creation to expiry. Document storage, TxC import, full-text search, approval workflows, audit logging, and integration with the payment calculator — built for teams who need visibility and control.

Having worked closely with the systems underpinning operator payments and franchise contracts, he saw first-hand how outdated and fragile many of these tools had become—and the impact this had on the people relying on them. CisiumIQ was created to address that problem. David defines the vision for the company, ensuring its products are grounded in real-world operational needs. He works closely with both clients and development to shape solutions that are practical, reliable, and built to last. While CisiumIQ's first products focus on transport, his ambition is broader: to identify where critical systems fall short and build better alternatives.

Ryan is a co-founder of CisiumIQ and a full-stack developer and software engineer with over 10 years of experience building web applications and complex backend systems. He leads the technical architecture at CisiumIQ and has been the driving force behind the OPC and CMS platforms. He is also responsible for the company's overall technical strategy and development roadmap.
